Nancy Scott

My name is Nancy Scott, and I am the Mom of, Mary Elizabeth, Andrew Earl, Katherine Ruth, Sarah Grace, and Nathaniel David Scott. I am not a professional writer, I have no degrees, nor the accolades of man. What I do have is a heart for the souls of children. Finding stories for young children that stir them to a sense of their lost condition  and their need for Christ has been a challenge. I found myself making up stories for my children when they were young. To my dismay, I did not write many of these stories down. Some we can remember, others may come back to me in time.

            What I hope to provide are stories for you to freely use with your children. I have stories that are just for fun. These are personifications. Cute animal stories, that teach patience, love ,endurance and sacrifice. I have stories that touch harder issues, like dealing with the loss of a parent and the issue of choosing the right friends. I have dabbled in stories for teens dealing with courting and God's will for their lives but these are harder for me and I do not feel God leading me in those areas at this time.

            Most stories are drawn from experience. I have been saved for 27 years and have lived in very varied kinds of situations. I have lived in the city, as well as the remote areas of Northern Ontario, Canada. I have dealt with children other than my own. I have taught Sunday school off and on in different churches for 25 years. I have supply taught in the Public School system here in Ontario, and have taught in a Christian School.

            I love the Lord. He is first in my life and leading others to a saving knowledge of Christ is my heart's desire. My life's verse has come to be,

I Cor. 15:10. "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
