Heritage Hall Info

The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 16:6,

"...I have a goodly heritage."

The Heritage Hall has the purpose of providing a place where Independent Baptists can honor those (living or dead) who have:

1) Lived their life for the glory of God and for the good of others, and who have
2) Impacted our lives and others for Christ.

One's sphere of influence can vary from an individual to a nation. Often, Christian leaders may be well-known in one circle of independent Baptists, but almost unknown in another.  The IBNet has, therefore, added this "Heritage Hall" to enable independent Baptists to honor those who are most important to them in a way that literally provides world-wide exposure to their testimony.

What does the Scripture say?

"Render, therefore, to all their dues:...honor to whom honor is due."
Romans 13:7

"Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in thy hand to do it."
Proverbs 3:27

We are in the process of developing this room for the following purposes:

to give glory to God for his goodness and grace,
to give honor to those whose witness and faithfulness has impacted the lives of others, perhaps yours, for eternity! and,
to give opportunity to those who would desire to honor their relative or friend in this way.

Whom may you want to honor? Here are some possibilities:

Parents.  Children.  Brothers.  Sisters.  Uncles.  Aunts.  Grandparents.
Pastors.  Teachers.  Missionaries.  Friends.  Authors. Etc.
